Join us in downtown Crete for our monthly Polka dance with the Kevin Koopmann Band! Kevin is an ace musician who has often appeared here with other groups, including Mark Vyhlidal, but this is his first time at The 1206 as a bandleader.

The Cross-Eyed Possum
Appearing for the first time at The 1206!
The Cross-Eyed Possum is an award winning, nationally touring Newgrass/Americana band, led by identical twins Jonah and Jason Howard. They feature vocal harmonies like Crosby Stills and Nash, display the technical proficiency of a band like The Punch Brothers, and write original music inspired by such groups and also by their dedication to jazz and classical music.
The band is currently touring to support their second studio album “Out On My Own” which was released in July 2023.

The Shucks Brothers with Janet Jeffries
The Shucks Brothers return to The 1206! Come hear some of the best pickers around, in the best venue around for acoustic music. The Bros, Dave Miller, Steve Hanson, and Jim Pipher always deliver a great set of bluegrass classics. Local celebrity Janet Jeffries opens the show.
