Crete’s Great Pumpkin Festival

The Great Pumpkin Festival is the perfect celebration of all things fall! Take a hayrack ride to the Old Mill pumpkin patch, visit the petting zoo, grab a bite to eat from the food court, stroll through the car show, watch performances by local dance companies, enjoy games, a craft fair, and more. Don’t miss the pumpkin drop and pumpkin pie eating contest! The festival is hosted by the Crete Chamber of Commerce on the first full weekend in October and most activities take place downtown on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
Cinco de Mayo Celebration

Everyone is welcome at this family-friendly event featuring music, traditional dancers, food and craft vendors, inflatable bounce houses, games, and more. The event is held at the City Park from 12:00 p.m. to 6 p.m. and promises great food and great fun for the whole family!
Crete Farmers Market
